Business Plan & Achievements

Appointed in January 2024.

Sovereign Centros from CBRE are appointed as Asset Managers to produce a cohesive management, leasing and marketing strategy and then to deliver on that strategy in line with a defined time frame.

Within the first quarter of 2024, two leasing practices have been selected and appointed. A new marketing consultancy practice has been employed and a full review of all other consultancy practices has been carried out.

The asset management strategy recognises the importance of existing retailer and key stakeholder engagement and we have made the necessary introductions to all the key contacts within the asset. The new marketing agency are supporting this process and have developed a new and exciting marketing campaign that is set to significantly enhance the profile of Islington Square with the view of not only assisting existing retailers but also to attract new brands to locate to the asset.

A new refreshed leasing strategy is now underway to increase occupancy rates, stabilise income and continue to develop an attractive offer that will boost footfall and give retailers every chance to build a successful business at Islington Square.
