WE CAN SEE MORE CLEARLY NOW THE PERRY BARR FLYOVER HAS BEEN REMOVED

Visibility of One Stop Shopping has been markedly improved this week with the removal of the A34, Walsall Road flyover. These works are all part of the substantial £700 million + investment into the Perry Barr area as a consequence of Birmingham hosting the 2022 Commonwealth Games that’s main event will be held at the nearby Perry Barr, Alexander Athletics Stadium.
The flyover demolition took place last weekend and completed on Monday this week. There are now clear sight lines across from One Stop Shopping to the brand new and extensive housing complex that is well under development on the former Birmingham University Campus site opposite.
Definitely exciting times for the growth of the Perry Barr region.
