Sovereign Centros are pleased to have been appointed as strategic asset managers for Washington Square Shopping Centre, Workington on behalf of Europa Capital.
The only shopping centre in the town and the dominant retail offer the centre comprises 250,000 sq ft of retail and a 427 space multi storey car park. The Centre which comprises a series of open linked streets is anchored by Debenhams, with a strong fashion line up including Next, River Island, JD and New Look. Marks and Spencer links into the centre. The average footfall of about 5 million per annum.
Sovereign Centros have been brought on board to initiate a new business plan, considering new concepts and uses to strengthen the retail offer. The rent collection, and service charge administration will be undertaken by Lambert Smith Hampton.
