SOVEREIGN CENTROS SECURE A GOVERNMENT GRANT AT CORBY

Sovereign Centros have been successful in their application to secure a Government grant at Corby town centre that will be used to carry out physical improvements across the town.
The total grant offered by the Government sets out to support:-
- Improvement to parks and green spaces and sustainable transport links.
- Improvements to town centres including repurposing empty commercial properties.
- Demolition or site remediation where this will have an immediate benefit.
Sovereign Centros are delighted to have been able to secure £170,000 to spend on improvements to areas within the heart of the town centre.
Brand new public realm seating and planters will replace old seating and all the street market stalls will be refurbished. In addition space that is currently hoarded off covering an unsightly area of one of the main malls will receive a brand new decked area that will allow the team to create a vibrant area for new retailing businesses to set up directly opposite the gateway entrance from the main car park.
